Within most windows programs
alt + f4 = Closes the program
ctrl + s = Saves the document
tab = jumps to next field (not within word processing programs)
shift + tab = jumps to previous field (again, not w/in word procs)
alt + tab = Switches between open window
Within Outlook and Outlook Express
ctrl + n = start a new message
ctrl + k = check the addresses against your address book
ctrl + Enter = queue the message you are writing for delivery
ctrl + m = check for new messages, send outgoing
ctrl + f = forward the message
ctrl + r = reply to the message
shift + ctrl + r = reply to all
ctrl + d = delete the message
Within most word processing programs
shift + arrow keys = select text
shift + page up or page down = select gobs of text
ctrl + b = bold
ctrl + i = italics
ctrl + u = underline
ctrl + c = copy
ctrl + x = cut
ctrl + v = paste
ctrl + insert = copy
shift + del = cut
shift + insert = paste

alt + 0162 = ¢
alt + 0169 = ©
alt + 0174 = ®
alt + 0176 = °
